I live in north san diego county, but a long time Atlanta Braves fan, and I've been following these rumors for a while now.Even though i love the Braves to death, it sucks to see my hometown team trade away the best talent they've had since their ONLY world series appearance in 98'..I understand..He costs a lot of money and the padres dont have a lot of money. This is San Diego's best chance to rebuild their team.The way I see it, there's two possible outcomes. They can waste their CY young pitcher on so called "prospects", that havent proven anything in the big leagues yet, or bring a couple of OK guys to the team.
